Transporting 4 stroke outboard motor
Transporting a 4 stroke outboard
Outboard engine, as the name implies, refers to the propulsion engine mounted on the outside of the hull (ship's side), usually suspended on the outside of the stern plate, also known as outboard engine. Outboard machine has high integration, simple installation and purchase, is the first choice of personal leisure and entertainment dinghy power, but also widely used in commercial operation, government law enforcement.
According to the different energy source, the outboard is divided into fuel type, and electric outboard.

Transporting a 4 stroke outboard Outboard machine -- outboard machine is a kind of unloadable power device suspended on the stern plate of the boat and boat, which can push the boat and boat sailing. It is also called outboard machine, rowing machine and hanging machine. It is mainly composed of engine and transmission, operation, suspension device and propeller. It has the characteristics of compact structure, light weight, convenient disassembly, simple operation and low noise, and is suitable for use in inland rivers, lakes and offshore waters. In military, it is commonly used on boats, boats and gate Bridges for reconnaissance, landing, river crossing, patrol, and other tasks. Civilian racing boats, yachts, short-haul carriers, and fishing boats can also be used. Some control boats are equipped with multiple propellers for different boats and boats to use in the empty and full load. The engine mostly uses two-stroke gasoline engine, a few are diesel engine and electric motor, the power range is 0.74~221 kW, the weight is 10~256 kg.
Transporting 4 stroke outboard motor Outboard engines are divided into 6 horsepower, 8 horsepower, 15 horsepower and 30 horsepower according to their power. They are generally two/four stroke gasoline engines. The starting mode is mostly manual, and the operator holds the direction with the direction handle. Traditional diesel power is heavy, low price, noise and water pollution is serious; Two-stroke Marine power focuses on economical price, strong power and simple structure; The four-stroke is superior to the two-stroke in terms of environmental protection and noise, low fuel consumption, and more durable and reliable performance.
Transporting 4 stroke outboard motor Fuel outboard
The fuel outboard works by converting the chemical energy of fuel oil into mechanical energy through an internal combustion engine, and then converting it into kinetic energy for the boat through mechanical transmission and propellers.

By fuel type, there are gasoline outboard, diesel outboard, liquefied petroleum gas outboard, and kerosene outboard.
1. Gasoline outboard machine: the mainstream fuel of outboard machine is gasoline, which has the advantages of wide use, mature technology and wide power range. In terms of combustion technology, it is divided into two strokes, four strokes, and two strokes direct injection. The two-stroke acceleration is good (because the crankshaft does work once per revolution), but the emissions are so poor that they have long been unsalable in Europe and America; The four-stroke is relatively environmentally friendly, but the two-stroke people are not used to its acceleration ability (the crankshaft needs two revolutions to do work once); Two-stroke direct injection hopes to combine the best of both by achieving direct in-cylinder injection of gasoline on a two-stroke basis, rather than through carburetor and air mixing. Major outboard manufacturers such as Yamaha and Mercury have all three capabilities, while Evinrude of the United States focuses more on two-shot direct injection.
2. Diesel outboard: Due to the technical characteristics of diesel engine, it is impossible for diesel outboard to be widely used. Even if high pressure common rail technology is popular, its compression combustion principle is doomed to greater vibration and noise during operation. Not a problem for an inboard mounted in the engine room, but fatal for an outboard suspended on the stern plate. Diesel engines usually have a lot of torque, and the transmission of large torque also poses a greater challenge to the gearbox. The appeal of a diesel outboard is that it is safer (than petrol); Second, there is no need for additional fuel tanks for traffic boats placed on diesel-fueled ships.
3. LPG outboard: It was born for one reason: ---- Environmental protection. As countries pay more and more attention to environmental protection, gasoline/diesel outboard can no longer meet the environmental requirements of many areas or lakes, so LPG outboard was born. It is essentially a modified version of a traditional petrol outboard, just as domestic cars have been converted to LPG. Liquefied gas outboard machines occupy a considerable share in the United States, and have long been used in China, but because they are too volatile to leak, the safety concerns hanging over people have not been removed. The most common domestic is from Honda gasoline outboard modified.
4. Kerosene outboard: Large market in Southeast Asia and South Asia, using low quality kerosene as fuel. Advantages: Save money; Disadvantages: High pollution
Electric outboard
The electric outboard uses a recyclable battery as an energy source and converts electric energy into kinetic energy through an electric motor
Surface drive outboard Advantages:
1, green environmental protection, zero pollution. This is reflected at two levels. First, it is pollution-free to the environment and has positive significance for the protection of water resources and air; Second, for the individual user, the storage, transportation and use are very clean, without the unpleasant smell of gasoline, oil, and exhaust gas inhalation.
2. Safety. Whether gasoline, liquefied gas, or diesel, are flammable and explosive, non-professional technical personnel when the ordinary user operation or some risk. Electric outboards have no such risk to worry about.
3. High promotion efficiency. The low speed, high torque output characteristics are very suitable for ship propulsion.
4. Low cost of use. The cost of daily charging is much lower than buying fuel; Simple structure, less rotating parts, reliable work, very low maintenance cost.
5. Convenient storage, transportation and use.
Disadvantages:
1. Limited battery life. Even Torqeedo's lithium-ion battery range can only achieve 2-3 hours of endurance at economic speeds. While personal entertainment is not an issue, commercial operations will have to increase the battery pack to meet the range requirements.
2, small power range. The most powerful mass-produced electric outboard currently has only 80 horsepower.
3. The first purchase cost is high. As a high-end product in the outboard machine industry, it not only provides users with excellent experience, but also has a high price due to cost reasons
